Systemic disease often results in corneal signs that are easily observable by means of bio-microscopy. Optometry is in a unique position to detect the corneal manifestations of systemic disease. This review presents corneal signs of various systemic diseases. The list is not com-plete but the review rather attempts to empha-size the importance of detection, and referral, of systemic diseases.
